Workforce Development Award

The CURT Workforce Development Awards are designed to provide significant national and international recognition for extraordinary, exemplary, and innovative training and education programs which encourage individuals to pursue a career in the construction industry and/or enhance an individual's construction skills.

2012 Award Application & Process

The 2012 Workforce Development Award application and instructions are available by clicking the buttons below. The Workforce Development Committee has improved the application process, criteria and award, and the 2012 award winners will be selected based on program scope, innovation, creativity and best practices implemented to achieve measurable results.

The award will be a bronze statue of a skilled construction worker (see example image to the right) signifying the value of their contribution to the industry as well as the value of the program being recognized. You'll be proud to display this award for all to see. To assist in underwriting the cost of the new award and juror process, the committee has implemented an application fee in the amount of $100 payable when the application is submitted. More details are available in the award instructions.

2012July13 - Application must be received by the CURT office.
2012Sep20 - Winners will be notified by phone.
2012Nov13 - Award presentation to winners at the CURT National Conference in Orlando, FL.
